35 Days to Pray for the USA - Day 20
Today, we are praying for the Body of Christ to rise up into their calling with power.
It is when we rise up into the calling that God has placed on each of us as a member of the Body of Christ that the Body operates as Christ intended.
When members are unsure of their calling or timid or walking in sin, the Body doesn't operate as intended...and that is a part of what has brought about so many of the issues that our nation is facing.
The Church has been weak as a whole and not walked in the power that God has placed in each one of us.
It is time for us to rise up in the calling and power that God has placed in each one of us!
1 Peter 4:10 NLT - “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”
1 Corinthians 12:7 & 27 NLT - " A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it."
Ephesians 2:10 NLT - “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
Ephesians 4:1-3 NLT - “Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.”
1 Corinthians 4:20 NLT - “For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power.”
Ephesians 1:19-20 NLT - "I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms."
Acts 1:8 NLT - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
May you be emboldened today!
