35 Days to Pray for the USA - Day 19

Today, we are repenting for our nation's daily sacrifice of our nation's children.

They are sacrificed in so many ways - through abortion, trafficking, neglect, abuse...and the Church as a whole has not stood in boldness against it. In some instances, the Church has turned a blind eye or even covered it up.

May God forgive us and may we become rescuers of our nation's children.

Isaiah 49:25 NLT - "But the Lord says, 'The captives of warriors will be released,     and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved. For I will fight those who fight you,     and I will save your children.'"

Matthew 18:10 AMPC - "Beware that you do not despise or feel scornful toward or think little of one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always are in the presence of and look upon the face of My Father Who is in heaven."

Mark 9:42 NLT - "But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone hung around your neck."

Psalm 82:3-4 NLT -  "Give justice to the poor and the orphan;     uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute. Rescue the poor and helpless;     deliver them from the grasp of evil people."

We pray not only for the victims, but we also pray for the perpetrators that they would be convicted and come to know Jesus.
